My daughter used to get her hair cut and styled by Carol. (Now my daughter is 19 so we don't go there anymore, but i miss those days!)

This place is wonderful for Baby's First Hair Cut because all of the stylists specialize in squirmy, active and moody customers! They have cookie jars full of treats to bribe unruly guests, children's movies, and a play area to entertain the siblings.

The stylists are all very friendly, engage the children in conversation and make every guest feel special. One of the unique features of this salon is that the stylists can do magic to girls hair! Every time we had a photo session coming up we headed in to see Carol for her beautiful braids with flowers intertwined.

A very cool place to get you kids hair cut.  The staff clearly loves kids, and knows how to talk to them.  They have toys, video games, and books for the wait.  The little tykes can sit in a barber chair while they get their hair cut, or something a bit more fun like a car or plane.  They have a TV in front of each station.

Elder Princess left here feeling exactly like a Princess, and you can't beat that!

They are a tad pricey, at just over $20 per cut.  At that price, this won't be a place we go for every haircut, but it will for those special occasions.

After reading the online reviews of children's hair salons, I decided to bring my one year old daughter here for her first haircut.  We called ahead to make an appointment (which was just 45 minutes after we called) and were greeted by a welcoming staff when we arrived.  They placed my daughter in a car chair and they gave her toys to play with while they cut her hair.  The hairstylist (Chroosi) was quick and careful.  After the cut, they gave us a certificate for my daughter which had a picture of her first haircut and a lock of her hair.  I paid $19 (with a $2 off coupon from their website).  Chroosi even styled my daughter's hair a bit and put flowers in her hair.  It was super cute!  I definitely recommend this place for a first haircut.

I've been living in Budapest for a year now, but haven't been able to find a good salon/hairdresser here. I know there's the like of Toni & Guy, but for me that's expensive.

This is the bane of my life!!!!!  I have very long blonde hair that needs careful highlighting.  I find the A list salon (google it) is very affordable and does a good job. Cut and colour - which takes 3 hours for my hair - is just over 10,000ft.  They are very nice, particularly the Pest salon.  I also tried the Horror Barbie Salon I know a lot of ex pats use, and although the color was excellent, the cut was poor and in total it was twice the price of A list.
